Tribute at Guinness Effort Award 2001 to the Late Raymond Kueh and Family

Miracle Journey of Raymond's Christmas Gift of Life and Love

A Special Tribute to Sabahan Donors

To the people of Sabah, the late Raymond Kueh gave a wonderful GIFT OF LOVE. He gave far, far more than just physical organs to a few people. He taught the SPIRIT OF GIVING by example. He became the first multiorgan donor in Sabah. His actions hopefully will be a catalyst for others in Sabah likewise to follow.

Raymond was a kind and tender-hearted boy. He practiced good stewardship of the things God entrusted to his care. Once he bought wilted vegetables from a poor lady even when he knew they were no good, just to help her. When he didn’t need his organs anymore, he gave them to those who needed them desperately. He invested well, and had given life to others.

You are your brother’s keeper and they are your keepers. If we truly believe that we are entrusted to one another, there will no longer be a shortage of organs.  NO ONE WOULD HAVE TO DIE WAITING FOR AN ORGAN TRANSPLANT.

He was a blessing to his family, and to all who were privileged to have known him either personally or through association. Many families here in the coming years will benefit from the snowballing effect of his gift and will have cause to be deeply thankful to him.

QEH and TOP Team wish to thank the family of Raymond Kueh for their generous donation of life-saving organs.

“Raymond has given far, far more than just his wonderful and ultimate Christmas gift of physical organs to a few people. He has taught the SPIRIT OF GIVING by example. Hopefully, this much loved and caring boy will be a catalyst for others in Sabah likewise to follow.”
