To promote the medical and allied sciences in Sabah

To maintain the honour and interests of the medical profession and to support a high standard of medical ethics and conduct

To foster and preserve the unity and aim of purpose of the medical profession as a whole

To voice its opinion, and to acquaint the Government and other bodies with the policy and attitude of the profession on matters relating to medical and allied subjects

To hold and arrange meetings among members of the association and guests, for scientific, social and cultural purposes, and participate in medical charities

To enlightened and guide public opinion in Sabah to the widest extent possible, on the problems of health in State of Sabah

To encourage and promote research into medical and allied scientific subjects within Sabah, and to publish papers, journals and other material in pursuance of the objects of the association
